Jordan Brand Fall Sneaker Collection – Initial Thoughts & Discussion
Hello good people of SFS. I’m sure everyone had a splendid weekend. If you’re like me and live in the US, I hope you had a fun and safe 4th of July. Now, on to some sneaker news.
If you̵7;re unaware, Jordan Brand had something to say recently. A few days ago, the footwear giant put out a release of what’s to come in their lineup for the fall of 2020. It garnered a variety of reactions as well as some new sneakers and dates we hadn’t seen yet. We’re breaking down the collection and letting you know all the shoes we see valuable for a reselling opportunity.
Firstly, here’s your reminder that here at SFS is the best place to gain valuable info about reselling and updates on all sneaker and streetwear releases.

There’s a lot to cover so let’s go.
The “Metallic Silver” Jordan 1’s are the first on the lineup to discuss. These have a locked in release date of July 25th for $170, so these 1’s are coming right up. Based off of reactions, these should be a highly sought after release. They tout a similar look to the “Anniversary 1’s” that celebrated the 25th anniversary of the AJ1 in 2010.
Next is the “Smoke Grey” Jordan 1. You’ll see these this Saturday July 11th for $170. Again this should be a reliable pair to go after for a reselling opp. Early sales are in the low $300 range. Expect that to dip but still be profitable. Check out the blog here for more info!
Above is the “Satin Snake” Jordan 1. Expected to drop in women’s sizing for $170 on August 8th. Definitely an interesting flip on Chicago/Black Toe colorways with faux snakeskin details. Fully anticipating these to be a hot reseller especially in those larger (women’s) sizes.
Last AJ1 in the catalog is the “Bio Hack”. These are scheduled for a September 5th release date for $170. Very unusual choices on the color wheel but I kinda dig it. Early prediction is these will be a great sneaker to resell as well.
One of, if not my favorite, sneaker on our lineup is this “Laser Orange” Jordan 3. Available in women’s sizing on August 21st for $190. On first glance it really reminded me of the super exclusive Kobe 3. I have a good feeling about these holding their value on the resale market.
Another women’s sneaker will be hitting the shelves. The “Fire Red Denim” will be dropping on August 27th for $200. Those denim overlays on the elephant print are seriously something else. While I enjoy the look, I’m not 100% sold on these being hyped on the secondary market. Of course, stay tuned here for updates.
Moving on, we’ll be seeing the “Oregon Ducks” Jordan 5 this fall too. Hopefully along with a college football season. Look for these September 12th for $225. We’ve all seen the crazy player exclusive’s but now that we’re getting an actual release for the masses, will the demand be there? Just look at the Michigan 5’s. They didn’t do so well on the market. Tread lightly on these until we know what/how many stores are getting them.
A new one we haven’t seen yet is this iteration of a Jordan 6. No official name or estimated release date so hang tight on these.
The Jordan 12 in “University Gold” will also be releasing soon. Look out next weekend, July 12th for these at $190. This particular AJ12 is a clear homage to Gary Payton’s PE, the legendary Seattle Supersonics baller. Based on all this I’m still not sure if these will just get lost in the hype of others. Early sales have these into the $400 range but this could be a flash in the pan. Check back soon for a more detailed blog.
The other Jordan 12 to be featured has the colorway dubbed “Stone Blue”. Release is scheduled for August 8th for $190. Being that the Obsidian 12 is my favorite of the silhouette, I quite like the look of these stones. In today’s sneaker world I don’t know if folks are clamoring for 12’s enough for them to be a strong reselling opp. Prove me wrong though.
Another PE lookalike is coming to us this fall. This Jordan 13 is given the moniker of “Lucky Green”, a sure nod to the Celtics and Ray Allen who has had some of the most outrageous Jordan sneakers in the game. Retail will be $190 on September 26th. In my head, these should be a popular shoe and could turn a nice profit. Early on, but that’s the prediction.
Last on our roundup is the “Hyper Royal” Jordan 14. Expect these on September 9th for $190. As we get closer, expect more info to drop regarding site list and number of pairs but on first thought, I don’t see these as a strong shoe for resell.
That’s all! Like I mentioned, check back on the site. We’ll have blogs on all the sneakers above if not already. Stay tuned.
