Nike launched the Doernbecher Freestyle program in 2004 in collaboration with OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Each year, a small group of OHSU Doernbecher patients work with Nike Employee Design volunteers to create inspirational footwear, clothing, and equipment designs.
These works are auctioned off to raise money, and then a small number of them are made available to the general public.

Since July 2022, early and comprehensive views of the most current collaboration between A Ma Maniére and Jordan Brand have been made available to us.

The Air Jordan 5 “UNC” will carry on Jordan Brand’s heritage of college-themed releases when it debuts in the spring of 2023, just in time for March Madness.
Dressed in University Blue, Black, and White, the colors of MJ’s alma mater, the University of North Carolina.
This particular Air Jordan 5’s University Blue nubuck upper is accentuated with Silver 3M reflective tongues and school patches on the heels.
The “Heart” and “Soul” writing is buried behind the tongues, and the design is completed with an ice-transparent outsole, a Black midsole with Grey speckling, and these elements.
The shoes will come in a customized package and be available in complete family sizes.
One of the most recognizable Jordan colors is the UNC colorway, which is one of the main reasons why we anticipate sky-high Jordan shoe resale prices for this pair.

The original Air Jordan 3 “White “Cement” model by Tinker Hatfield serves as inspiration for this new version’s design.
Tumbled leather makes up the toe boxes, tongues, and side walls, while perforated leather is used for the collars.
All of these components were created in “Summit White.” The elephant print overlays on the toe tips and heels continue to be covered in “Cement Grey” from that point on, while “Fire Red” accents are added to the forefoot eyelets, interiors of the tongues, and Jumpman emblems.
