A Complete List of February 2019’s Profitable Sneaker Releases
One billion dollars. That’s how big this sneaker pie is annually, and those with the right knowledge are taking advantage of the regular monthly releases like these 11 highly anticipated drops in February 2019. Three of these releases will be only moderately difficult to get with the right knowledge and research, whereas the rest require expert knowledge and tools like sneaker bots to grab a pair or even multiple.
This month, just two significant Adidas shoe releases are happening while the other nine are Nikes. Although there will always be a fight between the brands to determine which brand is hotter and thus better to resell, we’re happy to see the creative limited releases that each brand is coming out with.
Alright, let’s get this list started with a hot collaboration that we’ve been waiting for since the end of last year!
Note: For current readers, here is a list of May 2019’s profitable drops.
1. Bape x adidas Ultra Boost- “Camo Green/Black” — Release date Saturday February 2 2019
- Retail: $200
- Peak Resell: $350
- Potential Profit: $150
Adidas made a big splash in 2018 when the brand launched a capsule collection including both clothing and footwear with Japanese streetwear luxury brand A Bathing Ape, aka BAPE, in the summer of 2018.
On Saturday, February 2nd bape x adidas ultra boost black/green camo is back with the three stripes. Each shoe features a complex primeknit upper dressed in Bape’s iconic ape head camo.
There will be another release with metallic gold stripes seen from unofficial photos.
Stock information is yet to be set for the metallic pair.
With a full bape x adidas football collection in the works, the green pair will release through multiple channels while the black version is set to be a BAPE exclusive.
Stock numbers are very low, 850 pairs being released in the US and 800 in the EU so expect an increase in resale value, making this shoe that may rise in value over time.
2. Off-White X Nike Air Max 90 ” Desert Ore / Crimson / Hyper Jade ” – Release date Thursday, February 7th 2019 (new date)
- Retail: $160
- Peak Resell: $600
- Potential Profit: $440
Originally set to drop in January of 2019, we have seen a reschedule of this shoe which is one of the most coveted of the year.
The Off-White X Nike Air Max 90’s Desert Ore and Black/White color schemes has been set to release February 7’th and is looking to be profitable due to this is the last drop from Abloh and the swoosh for a while + 56.000 limited pairs and a high demand. You can find them on Nike SNKRS app, End clothing, Tres Bien, Offspring, SNS, SOTO Store, Foot patrol and Solebox.
3. Nike Blazer Off-White x Serena Williams Blazer Mid “Queen”- Release Date Saturday February 9 2019 (restock)
- Retail: $130
- Peak Resell: $800
- Potential Profit: $670
Tennis star Serena Williams may not come to mind when it comes to streetwear and limited sneakers, but for Virgil Abloh and his Off-White brand (here’s a whole guide on the brand), this unlikely duo proved incredibly profitable for him and resellers alike.
You’ll have to become familiar with the SNKRS app, where this drop is happening.
4. Nike Air Jordan 1 “UNC Patent” Release date Thursday February 14 2019
- Retail: $160
- Peak Resell: $350
- Potential Profit: $190
Nike Jordan has multiple exclusives lined up for February, including this eye catching “UNC Patent” version of the Air Jordan Retro 1, which is a women’s only shoe and part of the exclusive Season of Her collection.
We expect these to sell out fast due to high demand and limited stock on 110.000 pairs, so be sure to put this release date on your calendar. This shoe is alternative with shimmering blue leather opposed to its more usual textile style.
5. Nike Air Jordan 1 “Turbo Green” – Release date Friday February 15
- Retail: $160
- Peak Resell: $300
- Potential Profit: $140
It’s amazing how many profitable Air Jordan 1’s that Nike can put out.
2018 seemed to be the year of the 1, but this month of February is seeing 2 super hyped Air Jordan 1 releases (there were a few more 1’s dropping that didn’t quite make it to this list). Here, the tastefully faded “Turbo Green” colorway is a hot commodity, looking super wearable immediately for the lucky who are able to get them for retail.
Interestingly, the Grade school (GS) sizes are holding huge profits as pictured above, selling for an even higher resale price despite the lower initial price tag.
6. Nike adapt BB Black/Pure Platinum – Release date Sunday February 17
- Retail: $350
- Peak Resell: $750
- Potential Profit: $400
On February 17th 2019, the brand new Nike adapt BB is revolutionizing the game with what appears to be a true self lacing basketball shoe that comes with its own app. It automatically narrows or widens by pressing two buttons on either the shoe or using the associated app, dynamically changing its fit to your liking. For the indecisive, the app can also change the color of the sole.
It seems we’re living in the future now, as Nike is finally planning to use its self lacing technology in widespread ways across sports, beyond what we saw with the Air MAG in Back to the Future.
7. Nike X Tom Sachs Mars Yard Overshoe (restock on ONUS)- Release date Wednesday February 20
- Retail: $550
- Peak Resell: $1500
- Potential Profit: $950
Nike X Tom Sachs mars yard overshoe has officially made their third sneaker collaboration and is set to release February 20’th with a great resale value over time. Although they will certainly go for a quick flip, if you can afford to do so, we recommend to hold them for an increased profit.
Check out how much the previously released Mars Yard You can find them on select Nike retailers.
8. Nike Foamposite One “Doernbecher” 15th anniversary – Release date Thursday February 21
- Retail: $230
- Peak Resell: $750
- Potential Profit: $520
The Doernbecher collection, a charitable collaboration with Oregon University’s Doernbecher Children’s hospital, normally makes drops around the end of every year.
When it was announced that a special 15th anniversary edition would drop on SNKRS, the sneaker world went crazy and we saw amounts that bring this shoe to one of the top to release this year to date.
Those who were sharp and in the know got away with a nice win with these.
9. Nike Dunk High “Doernbecher” – Release date Friday February 22
- Retail: $120
- Peak Resell: $250
- Potential Profit: $130
Yet another surprise release for the Nike Doernbecher collection, this attention grabbing Dunk SB High is accented with “Thump Thump” across the heel, referencing the artist’s battle with a heart complication.
You’ll feel good in your own heart if you buy these as 100% of all proceeds go to charity research towards children’s cancer and other life threatening diseases.
10. Nike Zoom Rookie Galaxy (2019 re-release)- Release date Friday February 22
- Retail: $220
- Peak Resell: $300
- Potential Profit: $80
These colorful kicks are actually a redo of the 2012 initial release of this revolutionary new shoe, the Zoom Rookie Galaxy which is a hybrid of Nike’s Zoom series with its Foamposite.
The 2012 Original version still remains more valuable at around $600 on multiple platforms like GOAT, Flight Club, and Stadium Goods.
This 2019 redo shares the same silhouette and frame as the old version, but its colors pop a little more especially in the sole.
11. Nike Air Jordan Retro 4 Siltstone Red- Release date Friday February 22
- Retail: $190
- Peak Resell: $250
- Potential Profit: $60
The ladies have it good this month! Beyond Valentine’s day, this gorgeous pink-ish (technically “Siltstone Red”) Retro Jordan IV is dropping, with an official release date announcement of Friday February 22nd. The shoe is featured with a marbled light pink upper, with hints of black on the midsole, toe cap, wings, heeltab and lining laces with gold detailing. With stock being limited to 18.500 pairs the resell profit should be high.
12. adidas Originals x Yeezy 700 “Salt”- Release date Saturday February 23rd
- Retail: $300
- Peak Resell: $375-400
- Potential Profit: $75-100
Yeezy hype may be dead already since 2018, but there’s still a few bucks to be made for some of the 700 releases that have happened and will continue to happen, though it’s a far cry from the four and five figure Yeezy’s of the past.
This “Salt” colorway is releasing on Saturday, February 23rd to wrap up a solid month.
Given that it’s a Yeezy, it’ll still be very hard to get manually. It seems though that the hype is focused on future models like the upcoming colorways for the Yeezy 2019 Season 8 spring collection which includes the “Inertia” colorway.
We’re not sure whether or not Kanye is set for a huge rebound or a big flop this year.
MONTHLY TOTALS:
The investment this month is roughly $2500, with a total peak sales price over an estimated $5000, which means nearly $3000 in profit can be made this month of February alone if you secure just one pair of each of these monthly releases. Learning about sneaker bots can get you in the realm of buying multiple pairs of sneakers in one weekend.

Stock will be semi-limited, but since there is so much hype surrounding this drop, and due to it reselling for a high price tag on StockX (https://stockx.com/nike-adapt-bb-black-pure-platinum) , we expect it to sell out.
