Hey guys and welcome back to the monthly post on the most hyped shoes to resell this month! July was filled with plenty of releases, from Dior to Off-White Nike collaborations, however August is just as insane. With so much to cover, there̵7;s no time to waste.

1. Nike SB Dunk Low Sashiko – Saturday, August 1st 2020

Retail: $100

Peak Resell: $350

Potential Profit: $250

The year of the dunk, 2020. Nike SB keeps pumping out ultra-profitable Dunk Low releases every month, and the reselling community should welcome it with open arms! This denim colourway will definitely perform well, and with such a low retail, the margin on all sizes will be incredible. This will be a European exclusive release for now, with the North American release scheduled later in the year.

2. Jordan 1 High Women’s Satin Snakeskin – Thursday, August 6th 2020

Retail: $170

Peak Resell: $400

Potential Profit: $230

Another month, another hyped Women’s Jordan 1 High colourway, this time coming in a Chicago themed colourway, with snakeskin patterns. All sizes of these will certainly perform well, with bigger sizes performing slightly better as they run smaller than Men’s sizing.

3. Jordan 1 High Japan – Thursday, August 13th 2020

Retail: $170

Peak Resell: $400

Potential Profit: $230

Another fantastic Jordan 1 colourway, this time a retro of a Jordan 1 High from 2001. This all silver shoe will be worth copping in any size, but sizes 7-9.5 will probably be the best resell-wise, but will be the hardest to cop.

4. Kith x Coca Cola x Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Ox – Saturday, August 15st 2020

Retail: $140

Peak Resell: $300

Potential Profit: $160

Kith, Coca Cola and Converse have a long running relationship, and they regularly make nice looking collabs. These Converse will be released in Blue also. A selection of assorted clothing in the collab will also release. These Converse will be exclusive to kith.com, and will release at 11am EST on that site. The smaller sizes will perform best.

5. Nike SB Dunk Low Samba – Friday, August 21st 2020

Retail: $100

Peak Resell: $350

Potential Profit: $250

Another dunk to add to the list, this time in quite a unique colourway which originally released back in 2001 as a Japan exclusive. This will definitely be limited, but if you do manage to get your hands on some pairs, the profit margins will be extremely high. Make sure to enter all raffles you find for these!

5. Nike SB Dunk Low Medicom Toy “BE@RBRICK” – Saturday, August 22nd /Tueday August 25th 2020

Retail: $125

Peak Resell: $500

Potential Profit: $375

Adding to the list of hot SBs dropping this month is the return of a SB x Medicom Toy collab.

This time around, we have 2 shots at this coveted drop, first on the Japanese brand Medicom Toy’s site on the 22nd and also on Nike.com and SNKRS on Tuesday the 25th.

Early collabs with Medicom in the 2004-2007 era have resale prices nearing $1000, while the 2017 collab with the brand is going for around $400, meaning that this is definitely one not to miss–although it might take the use of sneaker bots or a cook group to give you an edge with this one.

7. Yeezy Boost 350 v2 Israfil – Saturday, August 22nd 2020

Retail: $220

Peak Resell: $300

Potential Profit: $80

After the massive Zyon yeezy release, which members of the SFSH cook group destroyed, securing over 200 pairs of them, this release, while in my opinion, not as good, will still definitely have some profit. It is quite a nice colourway which will rise in price over time. Smaller sizes (4-6.5) will perform best. A reflective variant is also expected to release.

8. Nike x Kobe 5 Protro “Big Stage Parade” -Sunday, August 23rd 2020

Nike-Kobe-5-Big-Stage-Parade

Retail: $180

Peak Resell: $500

Potential Profit: $320

RIP To the GOAT Kobe, and this Sunday the 23rd of August would have been his 42nd birthday.

To commemorate such an event is the highly collectible Kobe 5 Protoro in a gilded “Big Stage Parade” colorway with iconic reference throughout the upper of both shoes.

Getting your hands on these may be tough, but at least they’ll be widely available (in limited stock that is) across footsites in addition to Nike.com .

9. Yeezy 700 v3 Azareth – Saturday, August 29th 2020

Retail: $200

Peak Resell: $450

Potential Profit: $250

The Yeezy 700 v3 is probably my favourite new silhoette of 2020, and this beautiful blue and white colourway will definitely perform extremely well on the resell market. Unfortunately, 700 v3s are very limited, and will be tough to cop, but they will reap great rewards if you can cop.

10. Nike x Union LA Air Jordan 4 – Saturday, August 29th 2020

Nike-x-Union-LA-Air-Jordan-4
Via Hypebeast

Retail: $250

Peak Resell: $750

Potential Profit: $500

Union LA were the masterminds behind one of the greatest Jordan 1s of the past few years, and this time they are putting their spin on the Air Jordan 4 model. Although not as visually appealing as their Jordan 1 collaboration, I am certain that from the Union hype that these will perform great.

These are the most hyped sneakers of August 2020 for reselling in my opinion. If you manage to pick up just one pair of each in this list, it would be an investment of around $1600, and if you sold at peak resell values, it would net you roughly $4000, a net profit of around $2400. If you aren’t reselling, why aren’t you!
