To give you a better idea of the sneaker resale market and its trends, we are debuting weekly recap articles.

Let us know what you think!

We’ll begin this weekly market recap by taking a look at some of the hottest kicks that dropped this week!

First up, Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Israfil.

The Yeezy Boost 350 v2, with its newly modified tooling and lack of heel pulls, is maintaining classic trajectory as it forgoes color for a dark grey that’s far more within the brand’s comfort zone.

Dubbed the “Israfil,” the pair dyes its uppers in an array of differently toned grey shades, creating a more chaotic texture akin to that of the “Yeshaya” or the “Lundmark.”

Its side stripes, which somewhat remind of the current season, then add a bit of pastel orange, matching little but the embedded molds along with the outsole.

In terms of resale, the Israfil has performed just as we expected, averagely.

Yeezy is at the point where almost any pair that it releases is somewhat profitable, and that̵7;s what we’re seeing especially with the 350 V2’s.

With 152 sales on StockX, the sneaker has racked up a price premium of 27.3% and an average resale price of $295, decently profitable with the $220 retail.

Next up, the Jordan 12 Retro Indigo.

This Air Jordan 12 “Indigo” also referenced as “Stone Blue” is a brand new colorway that Jordan Brand will be launching during the month of August. Dressed in a Stone Blue, Legend Blue, and Obsidian color scheme.

This Air Jordan 12 features an upper that will fade to reveal a unique design underneath. Other details include Silver metal upper eyelets with White leather overlays. The release comes with a card that reads: “The Beauty of Imperfection, Fades to Perfection.”

Indigo is among the oldest dyes to be used for textile dyeing and printing. The oldest known fabric dyed Indigo dates back to more than 6,000 years ago. No two pieces are alike.

The Air Jordan 12 is a popular model but this time of year isn’t the best time to release a heavier sneaker.

With 272 sales on StockX, this Jordan 12 has gained a price premium of 25.3% and an average resale value of $242.

The retail on the 12 is $190, so you would be able to make a small profit if you picked up a pair of this week!

Next, we have the Jordan 3 Retro Laser Orange (W).

The Jordan 3 never get old. This version is dressed in a White, Laser Orange, Cement Grey, and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 3 features a white tumbled leather upper with hits of Laser Orange throughout the sock liner, eyelets and midsole.

Incorporating iconic elephant print on the toe and heel, this iteration is completed by a Laser Orange Jumpman “Air” hangtag.

As we’ve talked about in previous articles, women’s sneakers have been picking up for a while now.

We’ve seen this with many Jordan 1’s and Air Force 1’s and now we see a Jordan 3.

This sneaker continued the trend as it’s gained over 1400 sales on StockX with a price premium of 31.1% and an average resale price of $279.

This sneaker is pretty neutral in terms of genders and I think there are definitely some men who sized up when buying this sneaker.

Now we do not 100% recommend reselling Palace due to one main reason.

Palace releases many similar items and in very large quantities.

It is very hard to resell items that release in such large quantities and so often because it eliminates demand as everyone who wanted to cop, most likely already has.

Unless Palace does a big collaboration or releases a high demand item in low numbers, I would advise staying away from Palace from a resell perspective.

Now in terms of wearing clothes, Palace is great. With most of their tees retailing at $48 – they are not overpriced!

Week of August 17th Summary!

If you are a reseller, this last week was a great one. With a couple of Jordans and a Yeezy drop, you most likely made a few hundred.

This was overall just another week. I say that because we got a few releases but nothing insanely profitable.

Now if you have access to the Sneaker Flippers tools – you would most likely be able to take a basic week like this and turn it into a very profitable 7 days.

With releases where you make $50 – $100, you have to think about how to cop multiple pairs, instead of getting just one or two.

As always, make sure you check out our HypeMaster Playbook to understand how you can make massive profits from sneakers each and every week! For daily information about the hottest kicks, check out our Instagram, and subscribe to our newsletter!
