Before we take a detailed look at this brand-new collection, let me walk you over a bit of background information.
Louis Vuitton x Nike
- When the Air Force 1 hit stores in 1984, it gradually became one of the most recognizable and best-selling sneakers among Nike’s portfolio, and to this day, it holds that title.
- While they were created for basketball, the AF1 quickly caught on as fashion staples on the streets. Its clean uppers also influenced many artists to start playing around with them, applying colors and materials of their own to create something entirely new.
- The Swoosh and Louis Vuitton alike have seemingly taken notice and borrowed inspiration from it for their latest AF1 x LV collaboration.
- Revealed during LV’s Spring-Summer fashion show, the Parisian fashion house revealed 21 new Air Force 1s, all with vibrant, wild, and heavily monogrammed uppers.
- In the words of the designers, this collection is inspired by the early practice of “Hacking together high-end and sportswear” to create a masterpiece of their own with elements of both.
- Virgil and Nike have always gone all-in with their collaborations, the first one consisting of 10 brand new sneakers, following the “The 50” with a whopping 50 new Dunk Lows, and now this.
- No matter how expensive the retail prices will be, expect the resale to be nothing short of extraordinary.
To help us estimate a ball-park figure for its resale value, let’s head on over to StockX.
Off-White Nike Air Force 1 Low University Blue
- Retail Price: $170
- Average Resell: $1,900 (Learn to flip shoes like this here)
- Release Date: Saturday, July 20th, 2019
- Colorway: University Blue/Metallic Silver-White
Featuring a University Blue leather upper, these sneakers were highly anticipated in 2019 and are still highly sought-after.
Lateral sides feature metallic silver Swooshes while red tags and stitching provide contrast. Blue soles with “AIR” texts finish off the look.
Its average selling price on StockX is a whopping $1,900. I believe the Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Low will likely have a resale value within the same ballpark.

Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Collection | A Closer Look
- Retail Price: N/A
- Estimated Resell: $1,500-$2,000
- Release Date: N/A
Revealed during LV’s Spring -Summer 2022 runway show, this brand new collection includes 21 new colorways, all with peculiar details and LV brandings all over.
However, unlike “The 50”, the Louis Vuitton Nike Dunk collection features a myriad of new colors in Lows, Highs, and Mids.
The plethora of colors includes Off-White’s signature “Canary Yellow”, while other colorways such as Royal Purple, Red, Green, Black also make an appearance.
Almost all of these sneakers feature loud designs clustered with monograms and embossed logos all over, including a few non-traditional graphics. A nod at the arrays of cheap custom sneakers found in various markets and websites, giving the shoes in the collection an almost “Bootleg”-like appearance.
Stay tuned for more details to come!

How To Buy For Retail
Although no official word is out on where you might see these sneakers drop, you may find them on Louis Vuitton’s website.
Resale Value
These sneakers, even while they will retail for a hefty price tag, will likely sell out and be very profitable.
Expect a ball-park resale figure of around $1,500 per pair or way more depending on how limited they are and their retail prices. Either way, I believe these kicks are “Hype”.
