After years of focusing on running shoes, officials at Nike considered it a gamble to enter the basketball game. They had simply never produced many basketball performance sneakers before. In the end, however, it all paid off.
Bruce Kilgore was the mind behind the Air Force 1 for which he took inspiration from the Nike hiking boot. Kilgore’s design was so high-tech at the time that it’s still used in Nike sneakers today.
After releasing it in 1984, Nike decided to discontinue the sneaker. The AJ1, however, was so popular, demand practically forced Nike to bring it back in 1986. Air Force 1 released in multiple colorways and has been the canvas for a few popular collaborations.
Nike has been consistent with various animal-inspired colorways such as the Nike Air Max Safari and Air Jordan 1 Satin Snakeskin.

This Nike Air Force 1 takes the opposite route of style choices to the Air Force 1 Pixel Snakeskin when it comes to its design patterns. The ‘Swoosh’ and heel tabs feature a plain black leather while the rest of the sneaker is covered in faux snakeskin.
Only a crisp white midsole, outsole, laces, and tongue are devoid of such patterns.
The average selling price on StockX is $142 which is just an average gross profit of around $10 per pair. The Pixel “Snakeskin” colorway may likely have higher profit margins because of the low price tag.

Nike adds exotic rattle snake-like patterns on its latest Air Force 1 Low which otherwise features a clean white leather upper.
White laces blend into the rest of the upper while additional details include “AF1” and “NKE” in block writing in a distorted fashion which is replicated on the white insoles. An angular white midsole and oversized snakeskin heel tabs with block writing branding provide an additional layer of detail.
Finally, a white outsole finishes off the design.
Resale Value
I believe these sneakers will sell out, especially the larger sizes. Profits, on the other hand, will likely be minimal as with most other Nike Air Force 1 colorways this past year.
Using my estimated resell value of around $140, you can expect gross profits of around $30 per pair. The larger sizes will likely be more profitable.
