Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to bow down your heads in honor of one of the most anticipated releases of Summer 2021. The leather version of the Off-White Air Force 1 is releasing in its fourth overall colorway – The “ University Gold” edition. The release is said to be coinciding with an upcoming exhibit by Virgil Abloh at ICA Boston called “ Figures of Speech”. You probably won’t be shocked to hear this but the sneaker will be released in a raffle-style given the obvious nature of the high market demand for it.

So now let’s talk about the construction of this release. The Off-White Air Force 1 arrives in a complete leather construction dominated by a mustard-gold colorway that is contrasted by the bright white Swoosh on the laterals. Moreover, official images of the shoes reveal the exposed sponge materials at the ankle and tongue, a stitched-on Swoosh, and the famed Helvetica text on the medial side.

Now it wouldn’t be an Off-White release without the classic plastic zip-tie in a yellow colorway that hangs off the side. Taking a quick look at the insole and you can see Off-White and Nike branding imprinted in Black. A Nike Air tongue label and a black “AIR” on the laterals complete the design on this anticipated and much-hyped release.
