With the upcoming release of the Air Jordan 1 Bloodline 2.0, the Jumpman brand is looking to release another colorway of the first-ever Jordan silhouette – The Air Jordan 1 Light Smoke Grey is set to release on the 11th of July for a retail price of $170.
In this article, we’ll be covering the ins and outs of the latest Jordan drop and answer the holy question is it a drip or a flip?
As I describe in my previous articles, the Last Dance documentary has definitely had an impact on Jordan’s market. Fans are desperately demanding releases of the Air Jordan 1 silhouettes and in colors that pay homage to Jordan’s career with the Chicago Bulls. We have noticed that Nike has been listening to the fans and with releases such as Bloodline 2.0 which features the OG Chicago colorway of red and white.
July has just begun and we’re in store for some great drops such as Debenhams x Air Max or Jordan University Gold. Therefore, make sure that you’ve signed up below and are following our Instagram to stay updated with all the latest drops.

Expected to release on the 11th of July for a retail price of $170, this brand new colorway is surely melting our hearts. If it weren’t for the COVID-19, we would surely be standing outside Jordan retailers hoping to get our hands on this fabulous piece of apparel.
The sneaker features a white upper with light grey overlays in suede material across the heel, toe box, lace guard, and mudguard. In order to add contrast to this masterpiece, the Jumpman brand has incorporated the black color for the laces and the swoosh symbol and varsity red detailing across the ankle flaps.
The Air Jordan Wings logo on the ankle flaps and Nike Air branding on the tongue finish up the design. The use of Varsity Red, White, and Black colors pay homage to the Chicago Bulls uniform and surely tugs at the heartstrings of all Jordan fans out there.
What strikes me the most is how clean this sneaker looks. Even without bold colors, it speaks volumes. This colorway resembles the Dior X Jordan drop and it’s one of the reasons why fans are hyped up about Light Smoke Grey’s release.
Where To Buy?
The Air Jordan 1 Light Smoke Grey will be available on the Nike SNKRS app on the 11th of July. However, I would highly recommend you to study on how to use bots to cop these sneakers because this will give you the competitive advantage that you need.
If you’re unable to get your pairs off of SNKRs then StockX might be your next best option. But on StockX you’ll have to pay the resale premium so unfortunately, you won’t be able to flip them for a profit.
Do I even need to add this part when Jordan releases a colorway as exciting as the Light Smoke Grey? All of us know that this is going to resell well on the market. Especially, since it’s the Air Jordan 1 silhouette.
Looking at StockX, there have been 69 sales so far with the peak resale value reaching $400 and the average resale price circling around $327. There is little difference between the Bid and Ask price, which indicates that consumers are willing to pay what the sellers want to earn.
The most popular sizes seem to be 8.5, 9, 10, 10.5, and 11. And as we get closer to the release date, we estimate that the resale value of the Air Jordan 1 Light Smoke Grey is roughly around $280-$320.
