Air Jordan and Black History Month
Jordan Brand goes all in when it comes to the Black History month with many releases. For those who don’t know, Black History Month is a celebration of achievements of African Americans.
This is celebrated as it was started at a time where the role and importance of African Americans would be recognized.
The respect for this month is shown every year by Jordan brand through various new releases that reflect this month’s significance. This was the brain child of noted historian Carter G.
The Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor Snakeskin was originally supposed to release as part of Black History Month. However, as many other releases, it has gotten delayed.
Before we get into the details of the sneaker and estimate its resale value. Let’s look at a few similar examples and see how they do on the resale market.
Air Jordan 1 Retro High Snakeskin (W)
Retail Price: $145
Peak Resell: $150
Release Date: 07/28/2018
Colorway: Olive-Canvas/Phantom-Black
Jordan Brand has made snakeskin styled sneakers before similar to the Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor Snakeskin. These however did not do any good on the resell market.
That may be for a few reasons such as the overall aesthetic of the sneaker. Does it really look all that feminine to you? It may be that alone which put off most of the buyers.
According to StockX, the trade range is between $59-$101. Even the peak resell value which is at $150 will not have given you your money back after taxes and shipping fees.
With an average selling price of only $75, most re-sellers have been losing money.
Definitely not a good cop and not good news for the Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor Snakeskin. These are however, quite different so let’s look at a few more similar examples.
Air Jordan 1 Low PSG Paris Saint-Germain
Retail Price: $110
Peak Resell: $280
Release Date: 08/20/2019
Colorway: Black/Infrared-23 White
By taking a typical Air Jordan 1 Low with a black upper and white mid-sole. We may get a good estimate.
According to StockX, the trade range is between $129-$149 with the average price being $123. That’s not too good but it does give you profits in small amounts. The peak profit is $170 before taxes and service fee.
Now that’s not crazy good either but it gives us an idea on how much a typical Jordan 1 low resells for today.
Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor “Lightbulb” (W)
Retail Price: $100
Peak Resell: $355
Release Date: 04/09/2020
Colorway: Lightbulb
The Air Jordan 1 low multicolor lightbulb released on the 9th of march. It featured a white leather upper with a white toe box and green sued toe area.
Over all, it’s quite a nice looking shoe and that may have something to do with the resale value. According to stockX, if you had copped a few pairs you would have earned some good money!
The trade range is fairly decent between $128-$192 with the average price being $199. That’s a nice average profit of $99 before taxes and service charges.
If you had sold these at their peak resell values, you may have earned a respectable $255! Now that’s pretty decent resale value.
Another thing to keep note of are the most profitable sizes that range from sizes 10.5-12.
You can read about it in more detail from our article.

The Air Jordan 1 Multicolor Snakeskin has a fairly unique color tone and vibe to it, rocking a black leather upper with and multicolored overlays.
The color also resembles traditional African hues as a tribute to Black History month.
Furthermore, there’s a golden “Jump-Man” Logo on the tongue, black laces and a black in-sole. The insole features the usual white “Jump-Man” Logo.
The rear of the sneaker features a unique multi-colored “Air Jordan” Logo above snakeskin/reptilian details.
Finally, there’s the blacked out out-sole featuring a Nike logo with the typical traction design.
Resale Projection
These kicks do look pretty good in my opinion and that may help with the resale value. According to StockX they’re doing as expected.
The trade range for the Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor Snakeskin is between $141-$183 with the average price being $162. That’s an average profit of $50 and an estimated resell value of around $150-$200.
After applying a standard United States Tax of 12.5 percent and the service fee. You would need to sell for at least $132. The expected Profit should be anywhere from $20-$50.
How to Cop
The Air Jordan 1 Low Multicolor Snakeskin may sell out as it is a nice colorway however, with the right approach it may not be too hard to cop.
