Before we take a detailed look at this Fall-prepared Air Jordan 13, let’s take a quick recap of the market for this silhouette to answer the question “Are they worth buying for resale?”
Air Jordan 13 | Resale In 2021
Tinker Hatfield designed the Air Jordan 13 which was released in 1997. At a time where MJ’s return to the hardwood was making headlines everywhere.
Being such an anticipated release, MJ’s 13th signature sneaker was bound to be a classic and a top seller.
Over the years, Jordan Brand has released retro and OG colorways, most of which sell out quickly and are respectably profitable.
In 2020, releases like the Air Jordan 13 Flint was a popular choice for snakeheads and resellers alike. Its resale, however, was nothing too spectacular.
The same could be said for the Air Jordan 13 Red Flint (2021) and the Air Jordan 13 Starfish.
To better estimate resale for the Air Jordan 13 Obsidian Powder Blue, let’s head on over to StockX.

The Air Jordan 13 Flint (2020) marks the third time this colorway has been retroed.
Staying relatively true to the originals, the pair features dark blue mesh uppers with white toes and tongues.
A Jump-Man hologram on the ankle, Carolina blue Nike branding on the tongue, and white/grey soles complete the look.
While resale value has remained relatively mediocre, the value of these sneakers does seem to be appreciating slightly. Expect the Obsidian Powder Blue to yield slightly lower profits since it’s not as much of an iconic colorway.
