The Air Jordan 3 is one of Nike’s least released major Air Jordan but thankfully for fans, we’re getting yet another as part of their Summer 2022 collection. The Air Jordan 3 Retro Desert Elephant release date is on June 25^th for a retail price of $200 per pair.

The Jordan 3 is a very special sneaker in its own right. In fact, they’re so special that they’re widely believed to be one of Michael Jordan’s favorite all-time Jordans. Currently, however, these sneakers aren’t the most profitable even though they do sell out.

Resale for most colorways is around retail price or just a tad bit over. To estimate resale for the Air Jordan 3 Retro Desert Elephant, let’s head on over to the secondary market.

Aside from a few noticeable hits, the Air Jordan 3 Muslin has an almost all-canvas upper that is coated in a “Muslin” tint.

The eye stays, sections of the midsoles, and the heel piece, which features an embossed red Jump-Man emblem in a deep University Red color scheme, are all covered with sail hues.

Dark grey suede, on the other hand, wraps the toes and heels, while sail midsoles with visible Air Units and black outsoles complete the design.

On the secondary market, these sneakers are doing pretty well for an Air Jordan 3. These kicks are currently reselling for north of $270 per pair which is a $70 gross profit. The Air Jordan 3 Retro Desert Elephant will likely have a similar resale value.

This Air Jordan 3, although features an entirely new design, dons a color blocking inspired by the Black Cement colorway.

Uppers feature a mix of leather and suede with black leather toes, scuff guards, and side panels. The eye stays features black with orange eyelet panels while the upper eye stays are suede in a dotted sail hue.

Fossil Stone tongues are stamped with orange Jump-Man logos, while Fossil Stone still covers the sock liners and interiors.

The elephant print that’s usually cement grey is now a dark brown cracked leather material on the toes and rears. White midsoles and outsoles with orange “Jordan” branding complete the design.
