After hearing continuous leaks for the Varsity Royal we finally got some images. And one thing you’ll notice right off the bat is the stark resemblance to the 2018 Jordan 3 Another One pair which was released in collaboration with the DJ Khalid.

Looking at StockX’s sale data, we see that the average resale value of this sneaker is $6000 even two years after its release. Guess DJ Khalid isn’t good at just making music.
Another One didn’t have an official release which made it really scarce and thus drove the resale value up. This is likely not going to be the case with Varsity Royal but let’s take a closer look.
The Jordan 3 Retro Varsity Royal
The Varsity Royal comes in a varsity royal upper with very similar, to the Another One, elephant cement grey overalls. Currently, the official release date is 10th October and the retail price is $190.

As I said before, the Another One trades on the market for an average price of $6000 and just recently there were 2 sales made on StockX which indicates that buyers are expecting an appreciation in value of the shoe as soon as the Varsity Royal drops.
Looking at the StockX data for the Varsity Royal, we see that there currently have been only 2 sales made – one for $500 and the other $280. All the Ask prices are either $600 or $700 whilst the Bids are around $300.
Once the sneaker gets closer to release date we will see an appreciation in the resale value. Therefore, according to our estimates The Jordan 3 Varsity Royal has a resale value in the range of $380-450. You will be easily able to make money off of this drop.
So make sure to mark your calendars for the 10th of October because that’s when the Varsity Royal drops for a retail price of $190.
