After being very elusive in 2022 and a not-so-busy 2021, the Air Jordan 5 makes a return in an exciting colorway that distinguishes itself from the other more “serious” iterations. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Green Bean release date is on May 28th for a retail price of $200 per pair.

Stay tuned as we go through all the details and estimate its resale value!

The Air Jordan 5 Retro Green Bean was originally released in 2006 in a colorway that’s very different from the rest with lighter, neon hues. They are kind of reminiscent of the Air Jordan 5 Bel-Air and the Air Jordan 5 Poison that was released in 2015.

To help us estimate its resale value, let’s head on over to the secondary market!

The OG Jordan 5 Green Bean was released back in 2006 for just $135 per pair.

Uppers feature grey overlays and appear on the scuff guards, toe boxes, rears, and heel overlays.

The eye stays are a darker shade of grey with white laces and transparent white lace toggles that complement the plastic white netting on the side panels. Grey tongues are outlined by contrasting green hues, matching the interiors.

Grey midsoles with green Shark Teeth logos as well as a matching outsole complete the design.

On the secondary market, these kicks are worth around $350 per pair. That isn’t crazy high for such a classic but still decently profitable. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Green Bean will likely have a lower resale value.

These Air Jordan 5s are almost identical to the previous versions with virtually no differences.

Uppers feature a premium leather material in a Silver hue that appears to be greyer than anything else. Laces and throats match the leather on the rest of the sneaker while darker grey appears on the plastic eyelet panels that also appear on the collars.

Collars don a similar hue with black stitching but are outlined by the titular “Green Bean” hue, just as the interiors of the shoe. Green Jump-Man logos also appear on the tongues.

Dark midsoles with green shark teeth logos and semi-transparent outsoles finish off the design.
