The relatively elusive Air Jordan 7 makes a comeback in a striking new colorway! The Air Jordan 7 Retro Citrus release date is on August 13th for a retail price of $200 per pair. Stay tuned as we take a closer look and estimate its resale value!
The Air Jordan 7 has not had too many busy months in recent years. In fact, the silhouette has only seen a handful of releases in the past couple of years.
Thankfully, this latest addition may prove to be a turning point for the colorway as its popularity and resale potential have also seen better days. Before we estimate resale for the Air Jordan 7 Retro Citrus, let’s head on over to the secondary market.
Air Jordan 7 Retro SE Sapphire
- Retail Price: $210
- Average Resell: $200
- Release Date: Wednesday, March 30th, 2022
- Colorway: Shimmer/Black-Sapphire
- Style Code: DJ2636-204
An assortment of colors decorates the top of this Air Jordan 7 in a colorway that is inspired by the ACG.
The underlays are covered in a transparent pink/purple mesh, which also appears on the side panels, tongues, rears, and collars with a dark Jump-Man insignia.
The collars, rear overlays, eye stays, and toes, however, are covered with “Shimmer” leather overlays. Semi-transparent outsoles and grey midsoles with white flecks complete the look.
The resale value of these kicks is nothing impressive, to say the least. The average resale price is actually under retail so you can pick these up on the secondary market for a discount today.
The Air Jordan 7 Retro Citrus Black probably won’t be very profitable either but may break even.

The Air Jordan 7 “Citrus,” which debuted in 2006, will be back for its 30th anniversary in 2022. One of the first Jordan 7 colorways to be released that was not OG was this particular colorway.
Featuring an identical style to the original colorway, this Air Jordan 7 rocks black nubuck upper with orange/yellow accents all over.
Black nubuck covers the toes, perforated side panels, collars, and all of the overlays while being contrasted by yellow stitching separating each section of the design. At the lateral side of the collars, a titular Jump-Man can also be spotted.
Red Jordan branding covers the black tongues and compliments the sock liners and the interiors that include black inserts with an additional red Jump-Man logo. Red heel pulls, black midsoles with yellow and red pieces, and black outsoles finish off the design.
