Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Black White Purple (2009)
- Retail Price: $120
- Average Resell Price: $247
- Release Date: June 1st 2009
- Style Code: 305440-012
I know what you’re thinking, 2009! The sneaker may be bulky, it may not be as clean as the pairs we see today. But at the end of the day, it’s an iconic sneaker that makes a profit!
With the layered leather on the sneaker, the purple accents are highlighted. With NIKE logos around the sneaker and a bulky sole, this sneaker is prepared to face any conditions.
As a reseller, we have to look at where to money is, not necessarily the style. With a retail of $120 and an average resell of $247, this is a must-cop if possible!
Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Cool Grey White
- Retail Price: $120
- Average Resell Price: $242
- Release Date: January 1st 2015
- Style Code: 305440-005
This pair is very similar to the Black-White Purple that we just looked at, but with much more gray and a hint of red.
This pair is essentially dominated by gray and white but includes identical aspects such as the leather, lacing design, and air bubble.
Again, with a retail of $120 and an average resale of $242, it’s clear this sneaker is a hot commodity and a pair people are willing to pay for. Keep in mind that there are only limited sales on platforms, so know these are tough to come by!
Nike Air Max 2 CB 94 Triple Black (2020)
- Retail Price: $160
- Average Resell Price: $251
- Release Date: October 1st 2020
- Style Code: DC1411-001
If you were getting nervous about the early release dates on the first two pairs, no need to worry! We’ve saved the best pair for last!
Once again we have an identical design of the sneaker, this time dressed in total blackout. As was the case with the other pairs, every aspect of the sneakers has been the same except the colorways.
This sneaker was released in 2020 and has been selling hot on the markets, with thousands of sales across platforms. This sneaker is clearly much more accessible and that probably speaks to the $40 hike in retail price.
These sneakers still do exceptionally well on the resell market, with some pairs even hitting $350+!
How to Spot Fakes
With sneakers like these, the chances of there being a large fraudulent market are low. Although these pairs do bring in decent profits, it’s not nearly enough for companies to mass-produce fake pairs.
That being said, it’s still important to know how to generally spot fake sneakers:
- Price – if it’s too good to be true, it probably is
- Nike logos – this is the most common places where companies will get lazy!
- Sneaker tags – everything should be centered and all the information should be correct
There aren’t any foreseeable Air Max 94 CB releases, but don’t let that discourage you! This colorway has been a hit for a few years and shows no signs of stopping!
Keep your eyes peeled and your fingers fast because more releases will be coming, and more people will have woken up to the potential profits!
