Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 September Collection: Will it Resell?
Nike’s collaborations with other brands are usually very well-received within the sneaker community. For example, the upcoming Nike x Sacai this September which we already wrote about.
And why wouldn̵7;t they be? I can’t imagine any teenager making millions by trading shoes would dislike their primary money-making machine.
So, before we dive into Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 September releases, let’s first see who is Undefeated, who is also notably dropping a profitable Kobe model this month as well.

If you’re new to the sneaker culture, you’d be surprised how underground it was back in 2001. That’s when James Bond and Eddie Cruz started Undefeated. Starting from the bottom (shoutout to Drake) they rose up and became widely known in the streetwear circles and beyond.
Their most famous collaborations with Nike were undoubtedly the 2004 Nike Air Jordan 4 and 2017’s Nike Air Max 97. Right now, another collab is coming called Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90. It might be the next big thing when it comes to making big money reselling sneakers using the Hypemaster Playbook.
PY Leaks has tweeted out the complete list of releases although no official dates are known yet. Here’s what we know so far:
We’ll get eight recolors of the same model. Four times Black x Blue/Red/Green/Yellow and four same combos using white instead of black.
Black/Red & White/Blue will be released for toddlers and smaller children although these aren’t worth much on the reselling market.
Important: The closing four images in the following write-up are mock-up by our friends at sneakerfreaker.com. Neither Undefeated nor Nike have released official images of the Optic Yellow & Green Spark recolors. You can come back to this article later this week as we will update with real images as soon as they are available.
1. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 Black/Blue Fury – Release Date: Fall 2019

Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 Black/Blue Fury will release this Fall, probably September. Furthermore, the same goes for all other models scheduled for this collab.
Furthermore, it’s hard to give an estimate based on previous model resales, given that Undefeated and Nike haven’t released any Air Max 90 models yet.
Still, there have been some market fluctuations for some models that you might want to hear about. Let’s look at the next recolor.
2. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 White/Blue Fury – Release Date: Fall 2019

Looking at Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 White/Blue Fury, they are virtually the same as the last model, except the fact that black is replaced by white.
Sale-wise, something just happened as I was writing this article. The first trade happened on StockX. A single pair of these sneakers were sold for $650, meaning the profit margin was close to 350%. I’d definitely consider this a good omen for the future regarding this collaboration release.
More importantly, it means that someone has already got their hands on one of these models, although they aren’t up for sale anywhere. I believe it could be a retailer working with local Nike shops or an independent blogger. Either way, this means the release will almost certainly be happening this September.
3. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 Black/Solar Red – Release Date: Fall 2019

As opposed to White/Blue, we haven’t gotten any detailed images of Undefeated Air Max 90 Black/Solar Red. The image above was cropped from the Instagram teaser showcasing a couple being romantic while wearing black and white recolors of the model.
Truth be told, this is my favorite model from the whole release and I expect it to reach high resale prices. However, I may not be right so you might be better off following your own instincts.
4. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 White/Solar Red – Release Date: Fall 2019

The second Solar Red model was also showcased in Undefeated’s Instagram posts. In the image above, you can see it alongside both Blue Fury models being carried around a music festival. Not much other info is available, except the $150 retail price.
Truth be told, I’m not a big fan of red sneakers. Perhaps some Ye models but that’s also questionable. While White/Solar Red might reach respectable resale value, I wouldn’t bet on it.
5. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 Black/Optic Yellow – Release Date: Fall 2019

As I already said, almost nothing is known about Yellow and Green recolors except that their names and retail prices. From the mockup picture above, I can totally imagine myself rocking these (big fan of yellow/gold sneakers) this fall.
However, not much can be said about resale profitability at this point.
6. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 White/Optic Yellow – Release Date: Fall 2019

The same model as above, Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 White/Solar Yellow replaces the black component of the color scheme with a white one. Both of these recolors will be released at the same time but we haven’t got the slightest clue about how the fans will appreciate them.
Talking to footwear experts and some of my friends, I’m not sensing much appreciation for the White/Solar Yellow release. We’ll just have to wait and see.
7. Undefeated x Nike Air Max 90 Black/Green Spark – Release Date: Fall 2019

First off, I don’t believe the Green Spark models will have any parts colored orange as the mock-up image above suggests. Looking at Blue Fury and Solar Red official images, we aren’t seeing the third color beside the base two so there’s no reason to believe Yellow and Green will be designed differently.
Again, as we don’t even have an official image yet, it’s hard to say how the sales will go on this one. I believe either Black or White/Green Spark will be the underdog winners of this release. They both look pretty cool and well-designed sneakers with prevalent green in the color scheme are a rarity.

Personally, I prefer the Undefeated Air Max 90 Black/Green Spark to the white variation. However, to each their own and it’s quite possible that the majority of sneakerheads might like White/Green Spark better.
