Starting August 23rd, Nike is celebrating Mamba Week in honor of the late Kobe Bryant. The sneaker giant, during this week, will be releasing special edition Kobe shoes. One of the pairs that will be available for purchase is the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL which will be released on August 29th for a retail price of $180.

But that’s not all, during Mamba week fans will also, finally, be able to purchase the long-awaited Nike Kobe 5 Protro Lakers and also the Nike Kobe 5 Big Stage Parade. Both of these sneakers have already been covered in detail and let me just say that these are definitely not the sneakers to sleep on.

If you’re trying to get into the sneaker resale game then let me tell you something, this is a billion-dollar industry and the sooner you get into this, the sooner you get a hang of it. To help you along, we have curated our very own guide – the Hypemaster Playbook

Our playbook has already helped several resellers and if you don’t believe us then check out their reviews!

Feel free to skip to the Conclusion to read a summarized version of the entire article and find out the resale value of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL Description

Nike-Kobe-5-PROTRO-EYBL

Even though Nike has suspended the EYBL due to the COVID crisis, we’re still getting our fix through the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL. For those who do not know, the EYBL is a basketball circuit for teams of players aged 17 and under, and The EYBL is considered one of the top youth basketball circuits in the United States.

On August 29th, we will be receiving the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL in the Forest Green colorway. The Kobe 5 Protro features a dark green upper with grey contrasts around the forefoot and the toes.

In order to add to the color diversity, a metallic red bronze outlines the midfoot Nike Swoosh along with tongue branding which features the Kobe logo on the left while the EYBL logo is featured on the right.

It doesn’t stop here. A vibrant yellow sock liner along with peach color paints the heels. A green midsole along with a white rubber outsole finishes up the design on the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL Where to Buy

Now, this might bug some of you out but the Nike Kobe 5 Protro will be releasing exclusively on the Nike SNKRS application. Most of you will not have had a pleasant experience with this infamous application and therefore we want you to check out our winner’s circle.

Our winner’s group is essentially a cook group where we share with you insider information on how to cop the best drops and how to use Bots to increase your chances of winning a raffle.

Your other option is, of course, StockX. But since that is primarily a reselling website – therefore you’ll have to pay much higher prices.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL Resale Price

If we go to the Nike Kobe Protro EYBL’s StockX listing, then we can see that the sneaker has been performing really well over the past weeks.

The average price seems to be around $905 with a peak price reaching around $1100. The most popular shoe size seems to be 12 and 13 – therefore, these are also the most profitable sizes for the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL.

In order to gauge supply and demand, we take a look at Ask and Bid values. Currently, the Ask prices are at $1200 for the 12 and 13 sizes and the Bids for these sizes are around an average of $700-$800.

Considering the hype for Mamba Week and the fact that these are the first releases ever since Kobe passed away back in January, people are willing to pay top dollar in order to hold a symbol of his legacy in their hands.

Therefore, according to our estimates, the resale price of the Nike Kobe 5 Protro EYBL will be (on average) $750-$850. With a retail price of $180, that is a massive profit!
