Notre’s Values
In 2001, New Balance invented the 991. For 2021, the shape and details we’ve come to expect from a classic 991 remains, and has been dressed in a clean “Cork” and “Light Petrol” colorway, alongside “Peach” and gray contrasting across the upper.
The premium pigskin overlay is accompanied by mesh, which houses New Balance’s “N” logo on the side wall, atop an Abzorb midsole for superior comfort. The outsole boasts the brand’s moniker, while an embroidered Patta logo can be found towards the heel counter.

Conclusion and Resale Anticipation
I love love love the New Balance 991. All the hype is usually centered around the 990 and (especially this year) the 992 among some other “made in UK” silhouettes. It’s nice to see another 99X get some shine and these are well deserved. The Dutch shop Patta never misses so best believe these will be sought after, with some attractive profits. If you’re into materials, comfort, and versatility – these are for you.
