On November 24th, Nike is releasing the Adapt Auto Max in the Triple Black colorway for a retail price of $400. Since launching on Air Max Day 2020, this silhouette has been gaining different iterations in its colorways and unfortunately only a few have been profitable. Release Date: Mar/26/2020

Retail Price: $400

Current Resale Price: $409

Nike Adapt Auto Max Infrared

Release Date: May/20/2020

Retail Price: $400

Current Resale Price: $415

The “Infrared” seems to draw from the memorable Air Max 90 of the same name. Sleek seamless synthetic uppers are dressed in a Nike MAG-esque grey and equipped with a silver Swoosh, silver tongue branding and a hi-vis reflective heel tab.

Release Date: June/18/2020

Retail Price: $400

Current Resale Price: $372

The silhouette’s innovative approach extends into its performance features. For the first time ever, users will have two modes to engage—with one tuned for activity, and the other for relaxing. Lightweight, breathable mesh upper contours your foot for a personalized feel, while a TPU plate wraps your foot for added stability.

As you can see from above, the resale price hasn’t really been all that great for the Auto Max series. It’s mostly due to the fact that this item is a novelty and people don’t really see much value in the different colorways since the initial “Motherboard” release.

Nike Adapt Auto Max Triple Black – Details

As the moniker suggests, the latest colorway has a complete all-black color scheme that includes the mesh upper and the matching Swoosh branding on the sides. The stealthy black color makes its way onto the midsole featuring both the FitAdapt tech and Max Air cushioning.

Nike Adapt Auto Max Triple Black – Resale Prediction

Unfortunately, we don’t see this being a major hit in the resale community. Therefore, according to our estimates the sneaker will most likely break even on its early days and you may get a $10-$20 profit but soon after, its decay will follow leading to a loss on the market.
