Before we take a detailed look at the Nike Dunk Low Lemon Drop (W) let me walk you through a brief history lesson!
Nike Dunk | History
The Nike Dunk Low released in 1985 and was designed by Peter Moore who was also responsible for various other Nike sneakers.
This silhouette was an amalgamation of various Nike sneakers, a common practice at the Swoosh’s headquarters in the ‘80s.
When the Dunks did release, they were never intended to be flagship models and were only designed for college basketball, particularly for the NCAA.
However, being the second most popular Nike sneaker that year, Nike Dunk’s ultimate success was inevitable.
Later on, in 2002, Nike also introduced the Skateboarding division and the Nike SB Dunk. A slightly adjusted Dunk Low to appeal to Skaters all over the world.
Both these silhouettes, however, transcended sports and became cultural icons within the sneakerhead and fashion communities.
Today, the Nike Dunks still sell out within minutes and yield decent profits for resellers.
To estimate resale for the latest “Lemon Drop” Dunk Low, let’s head over to StockX.

Tumbled leather white underlays cover the side panels and toe boxes while citrus-inspired overlays indulge in suede material, offering more of a lifestyle feel.
On the lateral sides, Swooshes mimic lemon skins with a unique bit of texture that extends all the way to the heel tabs. Right below, an embroidered lemon sits peacefully on the quarter panels.
Matching laces blend right in while tongues feature a textured pattern with Opti-Yellow “Nike” branding.
White midsoles and tan rubber outsoles finish off the design.
