NIKE DUNK — A BRIEF HISTORY
The Nike Dunk’s origins can be traced back to college basketball courts. Due to the success of stars like Michael Jordan, the sport was gaining huge popularity at the time. This has sparked a surge of excitement and popularity in the college basketball scene.

NIKE DUNK LOW ROOTED IN PEACE — A CLOSER LOOK
The upper of this silhouette is mainly made of a combination of denim and suede. The denim is visible through the toe box, side panels and the quarters, whilst the suede is visible through the soft tan overlays that run alongside them.
The laces, Swoosh, and the Sashiko type stitching that decorates the quarter paneling and rear are dressed up with creamy white accents. Furthermore, we can see jade green accents on the tongue and heels with a debossed peace sign on the lateral heel area.
Moving downwards, the midsole is left colorless, with a semi-translucent orange sole that completes the look.
