Arguably one of the most underrated all around Nikes in terms of everyday wear and practicality, the Nike SB Zoom Blazer Mid, is dropping in perhaps one of its most iconic colorways to date: a Green and Yellow scheme reminiscent of the Oregon Ducks.

Let’s see how you can get your hands on these and if they will have any resale value on the sneaker market.

First seen in May of 2021, the Nike SB Blazer Mid Mosaic is a playful take on deconstruction of the brand logo, perhaps inspired originally by the popularity of past similarly styled Off White and Sacai collaborations.

One of the more notable of the debut collection is the pastel toned pair pictured above, with a head turning and bold patchwork of colors and textures.

A more subtle Black and Wolf Grey colorway keeps the same mosaic/patch aesthetic while appealing to the more low key and minimalist crowd.

We’re certainly a fan of the shoe, but as a leader in sneaker reselling education, we have to ask the question: Will the SB Blazer Mosaic resell?

For those who don’t know about the multi-billion dollar shoe aftermarket, one of the biggest factors driving it are shoes worth thousands of dollars.

One of the notable color schemes that Nike has produced in the past is the green and yellow team colors of the University of Oregon Ducks.

Some of the most expensive Air Jordans are those branded with the green and yellow of the University of Oregon.

The significance of this colorway is due to Phil Knight’s (the founder of Nike) affiliation with the University as an alum and his collaboration with past track coach of U of Oregon, Bill Bowerman, who together with Knight founded the brand.

The correlation with the colors green and yellow is so strong that even differently named models like the SB Dunk Low Bucks below have been some of the hottest items on the aftermarket for shoe collectors.

However, recent Oregon Nikes have not been seeing such insane levels of hype on the aftermarket.

The 2020 Air Jordan 5 Oregon for example, is down from a high of over $300 profit per pair above retail to about a $40 profit now.

The Nike Blazer Mid Mosaic “Multi” has a slight premium of about 25% above its $85 retail price on the aftermarket based on StockX

We haven’t seen strong resale value for any of the past released Nike SB Blazer Mosaic colorways, some going for at or below retail and only the Multi pastel colorway holding a bit of resell profits.

Although there will likely be some profit on the green and yellow SB Zoom Blazer Mosaic in Green and Yellow, don’t bank on it being huge, at least not for now.
