Kim founded Stingwater in 2016, a skateboard and fashion apparel boutique with product designs that embody the strange, quirky, and original personality of Kim himself.

This May, instead of working for Nike which he used to do, Daniel Kim is all set to successfully launch a collaboration with Nike on the famed SB Dunk Low!

These SB Dunk Lows welcome Daniel Kim into the world of sneakers with a bang.

At first glance, the sobriquet “Magic Mushroom” instantly makes sense as the upper is embellished with university red materials and white dotting all over the overlays. Mimicking the notorious “Fly Mushroom”.

More nods at the fungi appear in the form of sock liners that nod at the gills of a mushroom. Meanwhile, white throats enveloped with white laces provide additional contrast.

Other details include “Empty your mind” behind the tongues, mirrored Nike embroidery on the rears, “VERY SPESIAL” marked tongues, and dual-branded green insoles.
