Sacai and Nike
Sacai has become a household name in sneakers and has stamped out a plethora of shoes with Nike. In a short amount of time the duo has released 3 sneaker silhouettes in a combined 15 colorways. That’s quite the amount of creative freedom.
The high fashion Japanese Label run by Chitose Abe came on the sneaker scene with Nike with a completely disruptive look – the fusing of two shoes (on the LD Waffle) and creating “double” themed sneakers. Abe’s avant garde personalty gave her the inspiration create this unique style of repeating the common elements of a sneaker.
So far, we’ve seen the LD Waffle, Blazer Mid, and now the Vaporwaffle. Featured below respectively and in chronological order of their releases.

The Details
Officially arriving in color codes of Stadium Green, Tour Yellow, and Sail, Sacai definitely did their thing on this one. Suited in a variety of mesh, leather, and suede, yellow paints the side paneled mesh and suede eyestay overlays. Our green covers the suede toe overlay, Nike Swoosh, and heel. Double stacked branding arrives as usual along with the double laces, tongue, and midsole. A black waffle outsole finishes off the sleek, new original sneaker.

Conclusion and Resale Anticipation
You can surely expect the Vaporwaffle to be a strong reselling pair. As we’ve illustrated with past Sacai models, the hype is definitely apparent. Some are saying this is one of the more wearable and practical sneaker silhouettes from Sacai and Nike. It certainly looks like their comfiest work so far. You be the judge.
I truly love these for a personal pair, not to mention a slam dunk to resell and turn a huge profit.
