How’s everyone doing this week? Week 13 for Supreme S/S 20 is here. We have a lot to go over so let’s get right into it. Per usual, here at SFS we always keep you updated on all your newest Supreme info.
Collaborations
The North Face has been premium partner for Supreme for a long time.
For more than two decades, the highlight of every Supreme season has been collaborations. Apart from a few teases in the seasonal lookbook, Supreme collaborations are famously announced the week they drop, and the limited nature and surprise arrival has led to some of the highest resale value of any item in the brand’s catalogue. While collaborations are as infrequent as they are seemingly random, over numerous seasons some partnerships are not only expected, but actively anticipated. Of these longstanding partnerships—Nike, Lacoste, Stone Island—one stands above the rest: The North Face.
Dating back 12 years, Supreme’s seasonal North Face drops are not only highly sought after, but helped reposition North Face’s cultural standing as a whole. While the Nuptse puffer and Mountain Jacket have been New York street style staples for decades, the widespread recognition of The North Face in streetwear is largely due to its longstanding relationship with Supreme. Over 20-plus seasons, the two brands have forged a partnership that has birthed countless styles, eager fans and cultural moments aplenty leading, leading to massive sales boons for both.
Let’s run through the pieces being offered from North Face and Supreme this week. All should be extremely popular. We’ll cover the list in its entirety so you don’t miss anything. I’m just going to come out and say, a lot of this stuff seems perfect for a weekend camping/fishing trip! Shouldn’t be a surprise considering TNF has to be a top 3 outdoor outfitter.
tEES AND OUTERWEAR
The one and only tee to be feature in this lineup is being dubbed the One World Tee. Available in only two colors, back and white. Best believe this will be one of the quick items to sell out. If you’re trying to buy manually and want the best chance of getting one, try to go for the XL sizes. It may not have the most resale value because it’s usually not the most sought after size but for that reason it may be hanging around in the store for a few extra seconds. Retail is $58, with profitability being an estimated $50 to $75.
Next up is the Cargo Jacket. While things are heating up as we head into the summer months, you can still expect this heavy piece of outerwear to be another fast sellout. Jackets like these always hold their value over time. You’ll see used pieces sold from older seasons on Reddit and eBay above retail. As we progress, you’ll notice the trend with colorways for this collection. Loving that eccentric pink color way although I’m not sure if I could freak it. The jacket comes at $398 and can expect another $60 to $100 return.
To match the jacket, we’ll also be seeing the Belted Cargo Pants. Available in the same hues and sized small – extra large. Would expect the mediums to be quite popular. Note that they zip off into shorts if you’re feeling that dad-style. Retail is $198 and could see $30 to $40 from reselling profits.
Now on to some of the whacky pieces. First we have the Cargo Vest. This S/S 20 we’ve seen a couple vests and they’ve been big hits. Expect this sentiment to continue especially with this banger North Face one. A mesh style material, which seems perfect for fly fishing or something similar. They don’t call it cargo for no reason. All the pockets you need to store your personal affects. Retail is $168 with potential profitability around $60 to $80.
HATS AND ACCESSORIES FROM TNF/suPREME
Up next you’re looking at the Sun Shield Camp Cap. Its exactly what it sounds like – a normal camp cap but with this Sahara-like sun shield. Perfect for keeping cool on a hot summer’s day and NOT catching nice sunburn on your neck. Retail is $88 with resale profits expected around $25 to $30.
One of my favorite items from this week is this one here, the Adventure Tote! What a fitting name, who doesn’t love adventures? Throw your lunch and a 6-pack of your favorite beverage in here and head to the beach, chill at a park, or take a hike with your buddies. On weekdays, this can double as your bag to carry your laptop and notebooks to school or the office. Just don’t spill your oat milk latte on it when you’re working at a coffee shop! Priced at $148, resale has room to make another $40 to $50.
Lasly for the Supreme/The North Face capsule this week is the floating keychain. Awesome joint logo on these little guys. Throw this on your boat keys so you don’t lose them in the lake this summer. Retail only $12 and could expect $25 to $30 back.
Supreme Standalone
There’s a few flagship Supreme items we have a few to go over as well. Let’s get to it.
The only pice of outerwear is the Frankln Hoodie seen here. I’m not super crazy about this piece personally but if you like it for your personal collection, go for it. I’m just not sold that this will get much attention from a resale standpoint. Retail is the usually $148 with a potential small $10 to $15 flip if that.
The next piece I want to go over is this Racing Water short. Additionally there’s a matching Racing Soccer Jersey but I think the print looks better on the shorts. By the title I’m guessing these will be a swimsuit material. For $128, I would expect another $10 to $20 return on resale.
Lastly for this week I’m excited to talk about the Fujifilm Mini Instant Film. If you have one of those instant cameras, this is a MUST COP. For $20 we could see another $20 to $40 profits from reselling.
