5 Yeezys of Early 2020 with Resale Value
It’s the new year and Ye still has a deep penchant for pushing out his perennial shoe line, the Yeezy 350 v2.
Kanye once made a statement regarding the fact that he wanted everyone to be able to acquire a pair of Yeezys, and maybe that’s what he’s set to do.
That’s neither here nor there; The fact of the matter is there are new Yeezy 350 v2 iterations that are set to release at the beginning of the year that will have resale potential.
Just two years ago, stating that any Yeezy “may” have resale value would have been blasphemous and would have warranted any writer to be denigrated for that notion.
Those days are long gone now, as we’ve seen Yeezy 700s under retail now. Under retail.
Furthermore, even Ye and Adidas 350 v2 models are not always guaranteed a spot in the resale potential list. Luckily, this blog exists that can point out the do’s and dont’s of sneaker reselling–and how to join the elite.
With that being said, it’s mandatory if you’re taking this seriously to opt-in to our email list to be notified when the shoes on this list are releasing.
Enough of the Yeezy tangent, let’s begin the list.
5 Yeezys of with Resale Value
1. Adidas YEEZY 350 V2 YESHAyA
Release Date: January 25th 2020
Retail: $220
Peak Projected Resell: $400
Potential Profit: $180
As many iterations of Yeezy 350s there are now, it’s difficult for one to have a stark difference from the rest when its a monochromatic colorway.
Therefore, this shoe looks similar to the Cloud White edition, which has performed really well overtime in the resale department.
Yeshaya, meaning “God is Salvation”, features a bright white shaded colorway on the Primeknit upper, creamy white boost-infused midsole, on a crowd-pleasing gum-bottom.
Thanks to the online sneaker exchange site, Stockx, we can have a visual at the current market for the Yeezy Yeshaya during pre-release days.
As one would expect, the resale is apparent, but sneaker-reseller beware. As release day approaches, the resale price will decrease.
Nonetheless, ones that buy and hold could be rewarded on an appealing colorway like these that may perform like the Lundmarks and Cloud Whites overtime.
2. Adidas Yeezy 700 v3 “Alvah”
Release Date: February 15th 2020
Retail: $200
Peak Projected Resell: $500
Potential Profit: $300
As a writer for sneakers, many times the focal points end up becoming Yeezys, so it’s refreshing when there is a new model to write about.
Thus, one of the more anticipated Yeezy models that is doused in a monochromatic versatile black colorway is the Yeezy 700 v3 Alvah.
The sneaker boasts a dark makeover in comparison to the OG release of the Yeezy 700 v3 Azaels.
Starting with the bottom, the matte-black colorway encompasses all of the outsole, which appears to be thicker than its v3 counterpart.
The outsole attaches to the futuristic upper which is doused with grey streaks on its quarter panel, along with a cage-like darker grey element.
Resale and demand for the shoe is apparent, in other words, don’t hesitate on buying this pair.
3. Adidas Yeezy 380 v3 “Mist”
Release Date: February 29th 2020
Retail: $230
Peak Projected Resell: $500
Potential Profit: $270
Is it Kanye or the designers in Adidas that are able to manifest unique and exotic ideas to bring colorways like this to fruition?
Releasing next month in a hot February, is a new edition to the Yeezy 380 family, the Yeezy 380 “Mist”. The Yeezy Brand applies a camo-like design with beige, tan, and orange-yellow colors.
In addition, there are rumors a reflective edition will also release. If you’re familiar with Yeezys, you should know the reflective renditions will be limited and will boast resale.
Being that it’s another iteration of a new Yeezy model, it will go on to be apart of the OG Yeezy 380 tribe and the resell price will perform well over time.
4. adidas YEEZY 350 V2 “Cinder Reflective”
Release Date: Rumored Spring 2020
Retail: $220
Peak Projected Resell: $400
Potential Profit: $180
An all-black Yeezy is sure to bring a slew of hype due to its versatility and the monochromatic appeal.
Enter the Yeezy 350 v2 Cinder colorway, that stands out from the Yeezy 350 v2 Black by its gum bottom outsole and a lighter charcoal-esque shade of black.
In addition, a never-before-seen rear outsole matches the gum bottom hue that could further increase the resale potential of this Yeezy.
Although favoring an all-black Yeezy goes against the notion that Kanye needs to discontinue repetitive colorways of the Yeezy 350 edition, a monochromatic black replication will do numbers.
5. Adidas Yeezy 380 “Pepper”
Release Date: Spring 2020
Retail: $220
Peak Projected Resell: $600
Potential Profit: $380
The new Yeezy 380 model looks like a much-needed upgrade from the Yeezy 350.
The release of the Yeezy 380 Alien garnered hype and each pair now boasts resale potential, however, a black iteration may do even better than the aforementioned Yeezy 380.
I don’t have to repeat how well a black monochromatic Yeezy will do in the resale market, and a Yeezy 380 model will perform similar to its Yeezy 350 Black and the soon-to-release Yeezy 350 Cinder counterparts.
The Yeezy 380 Pepper shares colors that one would find on black pepper, which is a norm that Kanye tends to do.
In addition, the black Primeknit upper with various spots darker than others sits on a Boost outsole.
Similar to the Yeezy 380 Aliens, it should also be released in a limited fashion, thus increasing the hype and resale profit per pair.
The Adidas and Kanye West experiment has catapulted in the huge brand that they are now that has garnered much fashion appeal and popularity.
It is without a doubt that they will continue their reign in the new year, and this list is a testament to their success and creativity.
