Today the sneaker we will be taking a look at is the Yeezy 350 Israfil.

The Yeezy Boost 350 v2, with its newly modified tooling and lack of heel pulls, is maintaining classic trajectory as it forgoes color for a dark grey that’s far more within the brand’s comfort zone.

Dubbed the “Israfil,” the pair dyes its uppers in an array of differently toned grey shades, creating a more chaotic texture akin to that of the “Yeshaya” or the “Lundmark.”

Its side stripes, which somewhat remind of the current season, then add a bit of pastel orange, matching little but the embedded molds along with the outsole.

In order to get a better idea about the Yeezy Israfil, we̵7;ll be taking a look at a couple of other models and analyzing the data that we’ve seen in past releases!

First up, the Yeezy 350 Zyon.

Yeezy added another colorway of its most well-known design with the Adidas Yeezy 350 Zyon.

This 350 V2 dons a similar pattern as the Static colorway, only this time ditching a white side stripe and grey accents for a darker brown stripe and mocha hues.

This Yeezy 350 V2 is composed of a Zyon Primeknit upper with a dark tonal side stripe.

A translucent Boost cushioned sole and cream interior completes the design. These sneakers released in March of 2020 and retailed for $220.

The Zyon colorway is very similar to that of the Israfil. Both sneakers feature more of an earthy tone.

In terms of how the Zyon did on the resell market, it did as expected. Over time we’ve seen 350 resell value drop as Yeezy continues to push out new colorways.

With almost 1400 sales on StockX, the average resale price is $291, about a $50 profit once fees have been calculated.

Now if you were able to get multiple pairs of these, you’d be in for a good payday. But just one pair doesn’t bring quite the return everyone would be hoping for!

Second, the

Yeezy delivers a new rendition of its most popular design with the Adidas Yeezy 350 Earth.

This 350 V2 strays from newer releases by bringing back a heel tab that is present in early 350 silhouettes. This model was released as a regional exclusive specific to the Americas.

This Yeezy 350 V2 Earth is composed of a mud Primeknit upper with a translucent outer side stripe. A mud-colored Boost cushioned sole and mud interior completes the design. These sneakers released in February of 2020 and retailed for $220.

Given the sneaker’s name, it’s no surprise the colorway also gives an earthy tone. This sneaker, despite being much darker than the Zyon, has actually performed really well on the market, with asks on all sizes around $350+

Finally, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Linen

This 350 V2 stays true to Yeezy’s signature palette, sporting earth tones that provide a natural feeling.

This Yeezy 350 V2 is composed of a Linen Primeknit upper with a tonal side stripe. A Linen Boost cushioned midsole sole and gum outsole completes the design. These sneakers released in the Spring of 2020 and retailed for $220.

This sneaker although different in color from the Israfil, performed really well in the resell market. With 12,000 sales, the average resale price is $312.

As you’ll read, I think the Israfil will perform profitably, but not as well as this shoe.

When determining what the estimated resell value would be on this shoes, I had to look at a couple of different aspects.

Most of the shoes we talked about have been in the $280 – $320 range. Do I see this sneaker performing in that range? Yes.

Yes, but, I see it performing on the lower end. To be blunt, there is nothing special about the Israfil. We have seen the 350 before, we have seen similar colorways before.

Of course, Kanye has his way of selling out everything he puts out, and I would expect the same for this sneaker, but not the same demand on the aftermarket.

I think if Kanye wants to keep Yeezy alive, he’s got to be creative and really show everyone that he can create something nobody has seen before. Of course, his recent collaborations/leaked images of the Gap X Yeezy and Derrick Rose X Yeezy are certainly helping.

I see Yeezy expanding in the next few months to years and testing out different models. I hope they stray away from the 350 as we’ve seen so many pairs.

CONCLUSION:

Release Date: August 22nd
Retail Price: $220
Average Resale Value: $270 – $290
Retailers: Yeezy Supply, Adidas
