History
The brand new line was rumored to be released since forever as Kanye was seen wearing them in public.
The pair had been rumored to be called the Yeezy Boost 350 V3 however, they changed the name. It was rather named the Yeezy Boost 380 “Alien”, perhaps due to its strange design patterns.
On 16th November 2019 the pair dropped featuring a brand new prime knit upper. It also had a thicker mid sole, a sock caller and abandoned the classic lateral stripes.
The mid-sole has 2 different color tones and the bottom has an “Alien” like design for traction. It was received well by sneaker-heads and re-sellers alike.
We’ve judged how the reflective would do on the market. Now let’s assess how its non-reflective counter- part is expected to do on the resale market. Thus we take a look at resale values of similar recent releases.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Alien
Retail Price: $230
Peak Resell: $1,320
Release Date: 12/12/2019
Colorway: Alien
This variant does not glow and is not reflective thus providing a better basis to estimate.
According to StockX the trade range is between $382-$438. The average resale price is $451, earning you a potential average profit of $221.
That’s pretty good considering the profit at peak resale would be a massive $1,090! They’re doing very well currently so that’s good news for the 380 Non-Reflective so-far.
What’s also impressive is how it holds its resale value over time.

As you can see it holds value and doesn’t drop by a lot even after its release date.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V3 AZAEL
Retail Price: $200
Peak Resale: $939
Release Date: 12/23/2019
Colorway: AZAEL
This too has an impressive resale value with potential earnings up to $739.The trade range according to StockX is $668-$772 with the average price being north of $690.
That’s an average potential profit of $490 which is pretty neat! Considering this is similar to the silhouette of the 380 mist. That’s also good news.
Similar to the Yeezy 380 Alien, these hold their values incredibly well, perhaps better!

The pattern shows that after the sneakers dropped, resale value actually increased. That’s pretty impressive and a good indication the 380 non-reflective may follow a similar path.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 CITRIN Non-Reflective
Retail Price: $220
Peak Resell: $336
Release Date: 09/23/2019
Colorway: CITRIN
The non-reflective pair has a trade range of $214-$266 and an average price of $238. The potential profit for this is $136 which isn’t a lot however it’s decent enough. Considering how this wasn’t a very limited release.
The impressive part about it is how it retains its value just as the sneakers mentioned before.
When we compare the Citrin reflective to the Non-reflective, the trade range and average profits are all higher by a small margin of the reflective versions.
This tells us that people will likely prefer the reflective versions slightly more.

It has the typical boost mid-sole with decent elevation to give your height those few extra inches you crave. It features a rubber out-sole with the “boost” logo.

The traction and comfort is similar to the 700’s which is great as always. Finally, the rubber casing around the heel is also soft and great for comfort. Over all a pretty cool looking shoe!

Resale Value
I personally have high expectations of this shoe in particular. As shown above, hints indicate that resale value will be excellent and it will likely hold its value overtime.
Let’s take a look at the Yeezy Boost 380 Mist (Reflective) to make the best estimate.
Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Mist (reflective)
Retail Price: $250
Peak Resell: $499
Release Date: 29/02/2020
COLORWAY: Mist (Reflective)
According to StockX the trade range is between $325-$347 with the average price being $368. That’s an average profit of $118 and a peak potential profit of $249.
Not bad considering these just dropped recently. They also continue the pattern of the aforementioned pairs as they also seem to be holding on to their values.
So it’s safe to say these are a must buy. Just make sure to get sizes 8-11 as they were most profitable of the reflective pairs and may be so for the non-reflective.
