Adidas Yeezy 380

Ye got into making sneakers at a young age. Drawing them in class when he couldn’t afford to buy any. Later on in life, however, he got to work with huge brands such as Louse Vuitton.

After scoring a massive contract with Adidas in 2013 and releasing the Yeezy Boost 350. Ye was set for market domination.

The Adidas Yeezy 380, previously called the Adidas Yeezy 350 V3, is the latest among the 300 lineups. They feature a similarly smooth prime knit upper with the exception of perforation on the side stripes and translucent soles.

Recently we’ve seen an array of different colors ranging from the 380 Onyx to an absurdly colored 380 Azure. It appears Kanye is not afraid to experiment with colors no matter how crazy or rather, how horrendous they look such as on the Yeezy 380 Blue Oat.

To estimate resale for the latest Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Yecoraite”, let’s take a look at a similar sneaker on StockX.

The Adidas Yeezy 380 Calcite Glow features a clean white upper with light grey accents throughout. It also features a contrasting brown slash on the mid-foot and a milky translucent midsole.

The matching white laces blend in perfectly onto the white prime knit upper. A milky outsole finishes off the design.

The average reselling price is $250 which isn’t very high. The reflective variants, however, often have significantly higher resale prices. I expect the same for the Yecoraite colorway.

Ths Yeezy continues Kanye’s trend of keeping cryptic monikers for his sneakers with the latest 380 sneakers being named after a tetragonal mineral “Yecorite”. 

The upper features the usual Prime Knit upper in a combination of white and brown color tones which Yeezy is seemingly so fond of. A brown side stripe with perforations provides a contrast to this subtle-toned sneaker.

Finally, a salmon-colored midsole and salmon herringbone outsole complete the look.

Estimated Resell Value

Since this is a Yeezy 380, I believe they’ll sell out instantly and they’ll probably be difficult to cop. However, I highly recommend going for the reflective pairs as they’re always more profitable.

Using my estimated resell value, I expect gross profits of around $30 for the Nonreflective and $100 for the reflective variants.
