Studio Hagel’s adidas Sambas: Embroidered Napkin Inspiration

Following the success of the Wales Bonner Samba collaborations, sneaker enthusiasts crave more creativity in the popular lifestyle shoe. While not an official adidas project, we̵7;ve discovered something that could captivate the new generation of Samba fans.

Fresh from Amsterdam’s renowned concept studio, Hagel, these latest releases showcase their expertise, having previously collaborated extensively with Nike and other major footwear brands (don’t miss their Instagram). Beyond reimagining footwear with iconic models as a starting point, Hagel introduced their in-house footwear line, the Shroud, in early 2022.

These Sambas showcase delicate uppers inspired by hand-embroidered napkins. Adorned with blossoms and charming piping resembling dainty handkerchief edges, they come in four colorways.
