Before we do a rundown of what’s coming-out on Yeezy Day, let’s do a little recap on Kanye, what’s he’s been doing, and what’s next for him and the brand with the three stripes.
What has Kanye Been up to?
Kanye West has been back on his bullshit and in full album mode! The DONDA album named after his late mother is on its way. After years of having this album speculated, it finally looks like we’re getting a release.
Of recent, follower’s of Ye’s Instagram we’re treated to an unexpected photo of his new living quarters inside the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA. Since then that photo has gotten meme’d into the ground in a short amount of time. Last week he had an epic listening party in the stadium for his new music where he was in the middle of a sprawling, very dystopian set up. From a few tweets, people really seemed to react positively to the new music.
He was also seen roaming around the stadium during an Atlanta United major league soccer game. Fans were pleased but also a bit confused on why he was there.
Mr. West certainly has a lot going for him at the moment – between playing camp out in the stadium, mixing and mastering his post-divorce album, working on his partnership with Gap, and now the second annual Yeezy Day.
Without further ado, let’s break down the agenda for the sneakers releasing on Yeezy Day 2021.
adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Wave Runner”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $300
- Estimated Resell: $440-$475
It would feel odd if we didn’t get another release of the Wave Runner. We figure that the very first 750 and 350 models are out of the question but the 700 and specifically the Wave Runner have cemented themselves as one of the GOATs in the Adidas Yeezy line.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Zebra”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $400-$430
The Zebra of “Yebra” as it’s referred to sometimes, is another cult classic and among some of the first 350 v2’S. Originally released in 2017, this particular Yeezy has has a number of restocks but still going strong on the resale market. When it’s all said and done, the Zebra has staying power in the sneaker-scape.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Black Reflective”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $1000
Many were saying that this pair released in 2019 was a similar look to the original 350 “Pirate Black” and I don’t disagree.
Now to be clear, there is another close resembling, “Non-reflective” pair of 350 v2’s but sources say that the reflective pair will be the ones gracing us on Yeezy Day. This is great news as the reflective pair is much more sought after.
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Cloud Reflective”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $600-$640
Not too much to say about these. A very clean, versatile pair that folks enjoy. Again, exactly like the black pair, this is rumored to be the more popular reflective pair vs the non-reflective. Yes!
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Synth Reflective”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $950-$1000
Another reflective pair that will surely have some large resale!
adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 ‘”Tail Light”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $375-$420
Here’s one of the only Yeezy’s that I truly admire the name and think it’s spot on. Combining cars and sneakers? Brilliant. That crimson pull tab is the perfect hit to make these the “Tail Light” Yeezy’s.
adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Orange”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $220
- Estimated Resell: $330-$400
A fairly new model in the Yeezy canon is the 700 MNVM. Think of it as more of a sport version of the normal 700 like the Wave Runner.
adidas Yeezy Boost 700 MNVN “Black”
- Release Date: Monday, August 2nd, 2021
- Retail Price: $190
- Estimated Resell: $220-$240
Last but not least, the black pair of the 700 MNVM.

Many of these sneakers have had fruitful releases in the past which leads us to believe that there will be a hold in demand if not an increase. It’s been a while since some of these sneakers have had a re-release and for some, it’s the first time there has been re-releases.
