Maison Château Rouge, which takes its name from the multicultural Château-Rouge area of Paris, is inspired by African ancestry and the mixing of cultures. This depth and diversity are reflected in the AJ 1 Mid’s blend of colors and textured patterns.
Uppers feature a mix of colors and patterns with pastel blue and yellow hues along with baroque brown hits on the sides and the Swooshes. Sail midsoles and vibrant yellow outsoles finish off the design.

Youssouf and Mamadou Fofana, co-founders of Maison Chateau Rouge, use color blocking similar to the SBB releases on their Maison Chateau Rouge x Air Jordan 2.
It has an orange leather top with debossed motifs, contrasting stitching, and layered eye stays.
The design is detailed with “Maison Chateau Rogue” heel branding, “United Youth International” and “Chicago Dakar Paris” inner tongue tags, as well as special Michael Jordan graphic insoles and an extra pair of laces.
Orange leather covers the toes while matching laces with red hits blend right in on top of the throats. Sail midsoles and matching outsoles finish off the design.
