Before we take a detailed look at the Nike Dunk High Sports Specialties, let me walk you through a bit of history!
Nike Dunk | Sports Specialties
Sports Specialties may not be a brand many are familiar today with but they go way back and are perhaps the most impactful in the sports headwear industry in the ‘80s.
They were the first company to receive a pro merchandising license and continued to be a success until acquired by Nike in 1992. The year the brand was acquired, Sports Specialties made a revenue of over $70 million dollars so they weren’t exactly a small company either.
However, with time, the quality of hats arguably got worse and the brand faded away, only to live on in the memories of fans.
Today, only a few are left and carry sky-high resale values of up to $1,200 for some hats. Although you probably can’t get your hands on those vintage head wears, you can buy similarly constructed Sport Specialties-inspired sneakers from Nike!
To estimate resale for the Nike Dunk High Sports Specialties, let’s head on over to StockX!
