The Air Jordan 11 has become relatively elusive, but it comes back with a bang as Nike treats us to a velvet upper on this classic design. The Air Jordan 11 Retro Navy Velvet release date is on November 11th for a retail price of $225 per pair. Stay tuned for all the details!
The Air Jordan 11 is one of the most popular Air Jordans on the market, partly due to its history and partly due to the Hype-factor related to popular colorways and collaborations.
Today, we take a look at a brand-new colorway with all-new materials in the Air Jordan 11 Retro Navy Velvet.
Let’s head over to the secondary market to help us estimate its resale value.
- Retail Price: $185
- Average Resell: $290
- Release Date: Friday, April 19th, 2019
- Colorway: White/Navy
- Style Code: CD6846-102
The Air Jordan 11 features a number of interesting design choices, particularly the mudguards, usually constructed with patent leather.
As the moniker suggests, these sneakers feature a blue faux snakeskin leather across the mudguards. White leather covers the top half of the sneakers with white ropey laces and Jordan branding on the throats.
Matching interiors, white midsoles, and translucent ice-blue outsoles finish out the design. On the secondary market, these are actually very popular and valuable.
On average, these kicks are worth over $290 per pair, which is over a hundred dollars in gross profits. The Air Jordan 11 Retro Navy Velvet will likely have a lower resale value.

The Air Jordan 11 is known for its patent leather materials on the upper, but this time, Jordan Brand forgoes that signature characteristic and opts for a lux velvet material instead. Replacing one premium material for another and giving the shoe a more lifestyle feel.
The uppers start with a greyish navy velvet across the toes and the mudguards that run all the way to the rears. Leather covers the rest of the sneaker in a dark midnight navy hue on the collars and the throats.
The throats are wrapped up in matching dark ropey laces and contrasted by white Jordan Branding in the middle. Meanwhile, a metallic Jump-Man is embossed across the collars on the lateral sides.
White midsoles and dark translucent outsoles finish off the design.
These sneakers will be released in women’s sizing.
