Jordan OG colorway fans rejoice for I bring you some great news. We’re hearing rumors that the Jumpman brand is set to release the Air Jordan 1 Retro Bloodline 2.0 in the first week of July for a retail price of $170.

Now ever since the release of The Last Dance, there has been a considerable fan interest in the original Jordan colorways. Especially the silhouettes that Michael Jordan wore in the documentary. So it is no surprise we’re seeing a release of the Retro Bloodline 2.0.

Now before we get into this article, I want you to sign up for our newsletter below. This will help keep you updated with all the latest drops. Most of the drops have only tentative release dates due to Coivd-19 and if you follow our Instagram you won’t miss a single drop.

Feel free to skip to the Conclusion to read a condensed version of the article and find out the resale value of the Air Jordan 1 Retro Bloodline 2.0.

The Bloodline 2.0 is an updated release of the original Bloodline which released back in 2019. The Bloodline 2.0 is said to be a flipped colorway of the original Bloodline. Although we have no leaked pictures yet, here is a mockup by the House of Heat.

We can see that this greatly resembles the OG Chicago colorway released way back in 1985 and which has achieved cult status in our hearts.

Released in November of 2019 for a retail price of $160, this sneaker is an homage to where everything began for the Jordan brand. Reminding us of the Black Toe, the Retro High Bloodline comes in a black and white upper with red lining.

The sneaker serves as a homage to the glory days of the mighty Chicago Bulls. This Jordan one features a white leather upper with black overlays. A red trimming which is in line with laces and the outsole. Nike Air branding on the tongue along with an inscribed “Who Said Man Wasn’t Meant To Fly” on the insole completes the design of the Bloodline.

Since its release, the sneaker has been resold on StockX around 13000 times. What this shows is the fact that fans loved this colorway. As always the Air Jordan 1 silhouette comes through. Although the average price shown on Stockx is $177, we evaluate that this is rather understated.

Since April 2020, the resale value of the Bloodline has been increasing and now sits comfortably at around $200.

Tentatively releasing on the 7th of July for a retail price of $170, the sneaker features a flipped version of the original Bloodline. According to this mockup by House of Heat, we’re seeing a white upper with red overlays along with black trimming that matches the laces and the outsole.

Nike Air branding on the tongue along with the classic Swoosh in black color with red trimming finishes up the mockup. Although this isn’t the official picture but House of Heat has done a fantastic job. If this is what the Jumpman brand is going with, then I have no complaints.

Where to Buy

The Jordan 1 Retro High OG Bloodline 2.0 will be releasing at select Jordan retailers and on the Nike SNKRS application. Currently, there is no StockX listing for the sneaker but as we get closer to the release date, we’ll update you with all the latest information regarding Bloodline 2.0.

What’s the Resale Value?

Now we come to the exciting part of this article, the part where I tell you if there is any money to be made. Well since there hasn’t been any activity on reselling websites so far, we’ll have to rely on our instincts.

But given that the OG Jordan colorways are in high demand due to The Last Dance effect, there is no doubt that this will be a successful drop. Especially since the Bloodline 2.0 resembles the OG Chicago colorway, fans will be desperate to get their hands on these bad boys.

With a retail price of $170, I estimate that the resale value of the Bloodline 2.0 is likely to be around $290-$350.
