A new edition of the Jordan 12 is hitting the sneaker world on December 3rd, and this time it̵7;s a new rendition of a prior version of the Jordan 12. The Jordan 12 ‘Black Taxi’ is aptly named, as it’s a much darker form of the already popular Jordan 12 ‘Royalty Taxi’. We dive into the new Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Black Taxi’ and analyze how it could perform on the resell market.

These Jordan sneakers feature a white tumbled leather upper with a black toe wrap and gold hook eyelets. A new feature is on the toe wrap, where a gold plaque is prominent on the lateral side. From there, a woven heel tag and matching sole complete the design.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Black Taxi’ delivers a stealthy colorway of Michael Jordan’s championship silhouette.

The upper is crafted from black leather, accented with tonal stitched detailing, and lizard-textured mudguards in a black material. The simple design is disrupted by contrasting yellow accents, including molded eyelets, a small midfoot overlay, and embroidered Jumpman branding on the tongue.

A matching black “Phylon” midsole packs full-length Zoom Air cushioning for improved responsiveness.

The sneaker will retail for $200, and early resell signs are positive. Pairs are currently hovering around $260-$280, which are really great numbers in terms of Jordan 12 resell.
