The Nike Air Max Scorpion Flyknit ‘Lemon Wash’ brings an incredibly lightweight and versatile look and feel.

Interestingly, this silhouette was created entirely during the pandemic and long lockdowns throughout 2020 and 2021. The upper of this shoe boasts PrimeKnit, with interwoven Swoosh details throughout the midsole of the sneakers.

With retail as high as $250, it’s not exactly surprising why these sneakers aren’t reselling for much profit. In fact, with shipping and fees, you are probably losing money by reselling the Nike Air Max Scorpion Flyknit ‘Lemon Wash’.

It is also important to say that this colorway, while not strictly a women’s colorway, isn’t one that men are going to be very attracted to.

The “Lemon Wash”-accented shoe features 20% recycled content by weight, contributing to Nike’s “Move to Zero” initiative. You can check out our own article on Nike’s green initiatives here.

The women’s and men’s versions of the Nike Air Max Scorpion ‘Lemon Wash’ are virtually identical. We can’t seem to spot any differences other than the obvious sizing discrepancies that come with men’s and women’s sneakers.

This probably explains the identical reselling price as both the men’s and women’s pairs are averaging $275 on the resell market.

Despite both the high retail and resell, these are fantastic women’s sneakers that are genuinely extremely high quality. The Flyknit material, although incredibly lightweight, is very durable and modern.

If you are looking at these sneakers to purchase and wear, instead of reselling, we can promise you they are a great investment. These are not shoes that will break down in a couple of months, instead, they can last years.

The Nike Air Max Scorpion Flyknit ‘Black Purple’ brings a very different look and feel to the Air Max than the Lemon Wash we just saw.

The new shoe has a design that is reminiscent of the VaporMax Plus and VaporMax Flyknit styles, with uppers inspired by the latter and a clear tribute to the former in the shape of the sole units’ bulbous bare-Air units.

The source notes that although the Nike document that previews the Scorpion doesn’t go too far into the shoe’s creation history, it does portray it as a new era for Air Max shoes, using the phrase “tomorrow’s comfort today” to describe how improved Air technology is in the sneaker.

With a retail price that is $50 less than the Nike Air Max Scorpion Flyknit Lemon Wash’, this pair actually resells for some profit. After shipping and fees, you can probably safely profit anywhere from $20 – $30 per pair.

Do Women’s Sneakers Resell Well?

The short answer to the question is yes, women’s sneakers can be resold very well.

There are a lot of women’s pairs on the market that resell for less than retail, so people kind of assume that applies to every women’s sneaker. The reality is that’s not true.

Take the Nike Women’s Dunk Low ‘Medium Olive’ for example.

The sneaker was released in September of 2022 and retailed for $110. In our article, we predicted that the sneaker would resell for $180, allowing you to profit about $50 per pair.

As of mid-October 2022, the Nike Women’s Dunk Low ‘Medium Olive’ resells for an average price of $183.

Women’s sneakers are also very commonly found in retail stores like Nike Outlets. Outlets are constantly running sales and promotions and are great ways to find profitable sneakers for under-retail.

Using this method, you can actually make a profit off of sneakers that are selling below retail. People overlook sneakers like this and that allows you to capitalize. Of course, outlets are unpredictable and you’ll never know if there are any sneakers that are worth it.
