GOAT is an online marketplace for sneakerheads, where sellers can list their high-value, limited edition, or otherwise rare finds to purchase for buyers. GOAT stands for “greatest of all time”, a term often used in sports for incredible or legendary athletes.

GOAT not only acts as a marketplace between buyers and sellers, but also verifies the authenticity of sneakers (to combat the many fake and counterfeits in the sneaker resale market), and offers cleaning and refurbishing services for used sneakers sold on the platform.

How Long Does GOAT Take to Ship?

If you are into GOAT sneaker reselling, you know that GOAT has an interesting feature called GOAT Instant Ship. This is where sellers pre-ship their shoes to GOAT and allow GOAT to hold them in storage.

Then, when a buyer decides to purchase the sneakers, they are already authenticated and can ship from the warehouse immediately. Instant Shipping takes about 3-5 business days from the day that you order the sneakers.

Most of the pairs on the app are not registered under Instant Ship and are sneakers that sellers keep in their homes.

That means once you decide to purchase a sneaker, the seller has to ship it to the GOAT warehouse, the sneakers have to get authenticated, and then they are shipped to you.

The good news is, the platform has gotten so big that authentication takes a very short amount of time. From the point of order, you can expect your sneakers to arrive in about 7-10 business days.

What is Flight Club?

Instead of us attempting to explain this massive sneaker retailer, here’s what Flight Club has to say about themselves:

Established in New York City over fifteen years ago, Flight Club revolutionized sneaker retail as the original consignment store for rare shoes. Carrying the rarest exclusives and collectible sneakers, Flight Club has evolved from a one-stop sneaker destination, to a cultural hub for sneaker enthusiasts and novices alike. With three brick-and-mortar locations in New York City, Los Angeles and Miami, Flight Club remains the premier source for authentic, rare sneakers.

About Us, FlightClub.com

Flight Club is one of the most trusted sources in the sneaker business, as you’ll learn from this article.

Complex, the massive media/entertainment company, runs a show with Flight Club called ‘Sneaker Shopping. Joe La Puma takes A-list celebrities’ sneaker shopping as they talk through their personal experiences with sneakers.

Resellers capitalize greatly on Flight Club’s consignment system because of the available numbers. Millions of people can be reached by in-store locations and online websites, so your sneakers have a huge chance of getting sold quickly.

How Long Does Flight Club Take to Ship?

First, once you make a purchase, your order will have to process. This can take up to a week but usually only takes 2 or 3 days. If 7 days have gone by and you haven’t heard anything, you should email Flight Club.

Once your order has been processed, the sneakers will ship. The nice thing about Flight Club shipping is that they already have the sneakers in stock, so you don’t have to wait for two shipments.

If you’re located in the US, your sneakers should take around 5 business days to arrive. If you are international, those times will increase and will depend on Flight Club’s shipping method.

How to Ship Safely

This is an incredibly important topic for resellers who are constantly shipping sneakers. You want your customers to be as satisfied as possible, making sure sneakers arrive without any damage.

You can check out our complete How To Package And Ship Sneakers guide, but we’ll give you the rundown here.

You want to use a cardboard box that leaves a bit of room around the sneaker box for packing paper. That allows the box to remain intact and not get damaged as it’s thrown around during shipping.

You want to use a healthy amount of tape and make sure the shipping label is secured.

If you are shipping a pair of sneakers over $300 or so, you might want to consider purchasing insurance. You never know what could happen, and you don’t want to be in a situation where you are left without the sneakers and a very unhappy customer.
