J Balvin and Jordan Brand are set to collaborate a second time after their incredible first run-in together, and this time, they’re teaming up on the Air Jordan 2. The J Balvin Air Jordan 2 release date is on September 15th for a retail price of $300 per pair.

Stay tuned as we estimate its resale value.

Columbian singer and apparently sneaker enthusiast J Blavin had an extremely successful collaboration on the Air Jordan 1, but will that success carry over to the Air Jordan 2? It seems highly likely.

Before we estimate resale for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 Retro, let’s head on over to the secondary market to check out their first collaboration.

The Air Jordan 1 High J Balvin was released in December 2020 when J Balvin and Jordan Brand went creative together.

The layered tie-dye canvas upper of the Air Jordan 1 High J Balvin has been crafted with jagged edges to reveal solid black leather patches.

The shoe’s visible foam tongues give it a retro vibe, while Velcro patches on the heel with Jordan and J. Balvin insignias allow users the option to personalize their own pair.

This one-of-a-kind Jordan 1 is completed with a light pink sole and J Balvin’s happy face emblem on the tongue and insole.

Not only for Nike, but these kicks have been a huge success for the Swoosh as well. On the secondary market, they’re worth almost $500 per pair yielding around $300 in gross profits.

The J Balvin x Air Jordan 2 Retro will also likely be very profitable.

The second collaboration appears to be less psychedelic than the first and yet, is still as exciting.

The uppers feature light blue leather on the eye stays with perforations while Celestine Blue appears on the side panels and collars with a checkered pattern.

Matching throats are wrapped in white laces and lead-up matching sky blue tongues with reflective Jordan Wings motifs. Interiors get even more interesting with cloudy patterns, Balvin-signed insoles, and personal green thunderbolt logos on the inner tongues.

Heels feature Nike and J-Balvin’s smiley face logos while sky blue outsoles finish off the look.
