The Nike Dunk Low was originally released in 1985 as a basketball sneaker that was targeted towards college basketball players.
With these sneakers, the Swoosh pioneered the College Colors program which tapped into the school spirit and allowed students to represent their schools in an all-new way. The Dunks were released to the public later in 1986.
The Nike Dunk Lows retail for $100-$110 and usually come in a two-toned all-leather construction. However, they can also wear a myriad of colors and materials including canvas, denim, and suede.
To this day, most colorways of the Nike Dunk Low continue to sell out instantly and resell for high prices over retail.
